This hat is made by Katerina using manual knitting machine and the best quality soft Shetland pure wool yarn.
It is one size fits all due to the the knitting tension which brings the perfect elasticity to fit all head sizes.
The fibre is untreated which means it is only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatments prior to the dyeing which highlights the fibre's natural properties while also provides a better shape and texture.
It has been plant dyed in a beautiful and vibrant shade of sky blue using indigo powder when fresh indigo leaves are out of season.
We typically use the so called !-2-3 vat method as the most environmentally friendly
We work with natural dyes from our small art studio situated on the South Coast of England.
